Call-to-action for German companies to register in the Transparency Register
All German GmbHs are obliged to register in the German Transparency Register
Since 1st August 2021, all registered companies in Germany have become subject to transparency requirements and are re required to register in the Transparency Register. This includes:
For this reason, all registered companies in Germany will therefore have to enter their company details in the transparency register, regardless of whether this information is already available from other public registers (e.g. commercial-, cooperative- or partnership registers).
Important: In the event of violations of the transparency register obligations, the Federal Office of Administration will initiate a fine against all existing companies that have not registered.
